Gold and Silver Vice-Chancellor performance evaluations will be conducted throughout the study term (annually), and if the scholarship recipient does not meet the required Key Performance Indicator (KPI), the scholarship may be terminated or the Selection Committee may make another decision.

Gold Vice-Chancellor’s Award

The applicant must be registered by Research as a full-time postgraduate student.

Candidates for MSc admission must hold a Bachelor’s degree with

Distinction CGPA of at least 3.67, a First Class Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent from a renowned university, AND the ability to establish one’s academic credentials.

Candidates for a PhD must hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent degree from an institution of repute, and they MUST have published at least TWO (2) publications in Q2 journals or above as the first student author.

Silver Vice-Chancellor’s Award

The candidate must be registered as a research or mixed mode full-time postgraduate student.

Candidates for the MSc programme must have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a Distinction CGPA of at least 3.67, a First Class Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent, AND they must demonstrate their academic integrity.
