The programme provides scholarships for people from developing countries with a Francophone majority to study in Canada. The scholarships are offered at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctorate levels and span a variety of academic fields, including social sciences, health, and technology. The programme seeks to stimulate academic and professional development, strengthen bilateral ties, and contribute to the expansion and prosperity of the Francophonie community by supporting the education of Francophone students. Canada underlines its dedication to linguistic and cultural diversity, information sharing, and intergovernmental collaboration through this programme.<\/span><\/p>\nScholarship Coverage<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n Scholarships to study in Canada are offered via the PCBF for technical and vocational training as well as second- and third-cycle university degrees (Master’s and Doctorate). They are given for one academic year, but if the students have good grades and their studies last the customary amount of time for each scholarship, they are renewed yearly. At the university level, they last for 2, 3, and 4 years, while the technical and professional levels last for only two years. - Candidates identified and selected may apply for university studies leading to a master\u2019s and doctoral degree, for technical and vocational training, or for short-term internships.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Institutions targeted by recipient countries conduct internal recruitment campaigns to identify qualified candidates who show the greatest aptitude for helping strengthen their institution\u2019s capacities when they return to their country.<\/span><\/li>\n
