The postdoctoral fellowship position is a temporary position where the main goal is to qualify for work in senior academic positions. We have two 3-year positions in the ExMilk project (Exercised Breastmilk: A kick-start for childhood obesity prevention?), which is an ERC Starting Grant project. The overall aim of the project is to determine how exercise can modify breastmilk composition. The postdoctoral fellows will focus on bioinformatics\/data analyses of data from multi-omics technologies to discover the acute and long-term effects of exercise on breastmilk composition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Postdoctoral Job<\/span><\/h1>\n

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Postdoctoral position will be within Research theme 8 of Porelab which concerns the use of improved theories to describe transport in porous media in important applications. The objective of Research Theme 8 is to apply knowledge from Research Themes 1-7 to: 1) Design more efficient electrochemical systems such as batteries and systems with ion-selective membranes. 2) Describe moisture migration in insulation materials. 3) Enhance the understanding of biological systems. 4) Study porous materials for transport and storage of hydrogen. The Postdoctoral candidate will work with one of these topics, where the choice will depend on the interests and qualifications of the candidate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The position is related to the ERC Advanced Grant project \u201cControl of light vehicle-manipulator systems\u201d (CR\u00c8ME). In this project we aim to develop a control framework that enables light and freely moving autonomous robots that can perform complex and versatile operations, involving highly precise and forceful physical interactions, in challenging environments. We specifically target the underwater environment, as this poses particularly severe challenges, including unmodelled time-varying hydrodynamic forces, uncertain hydrodynamic coefficients, and strong environmental disturbances.<\/span><\/p>\n
