In this article, we’ll go over the Gates Cambridge scholarship program’s features, benefits, and step-by-step application process.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Gates Cambridge Scholarship 2023-2024 is a fully funded international student scholarship. This scholarship is available for master’s and doctoral studies. This scholarship includes a stipend of \u00a318,744 per year, health insurance, academic development funding of up to \u00a32,000, and a family allowance of up to \u00a315,612. <\/span><\/p>\n For the academic year 2023-24, Gates Cambridge will award 80 full-fee scholarships to outstanding candidates from outside the United Kingdom to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject offered by the University of Cambridge. Approximately two-thirds of these awards will be available to PhD students, with approximately 25 awards available in the US round and 55 available in the International round.<\/span><\/p>\n The Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme was established in October 2000 by a donation of US$210m from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge; this is the largest ever single donation to a UK university. <\/span><\/p>\n The first class of scholars came into residence in October 2001. Since then, the Trust has awarded over 2,000 scholarships to scholars from more than 100 countries. <\/span><\/p>\n Each year Gates Cambridge offers c.80 full-cost scholarships to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.
