Scholarship Coverage

If a student is in a repeat year, they will not earn the annual stipend.
Eligibility Criteria
You must hold a September 2024 course offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Westminster.
You must have a household income of £25,000 or below as assessed by the Student Loans Company.
You are not eligible to apply if you already have an Honours degree.
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following conditions.
• Course offer for a place on a full-time undergraduate degree programme for the current academic year.
• Assessed as Home student for fee purposes
• New entrants only, current students at the University of Westminster are not eligible to apply
• Have met all eligibility criteria as outlined on the application form
• Not already been awarded a degree;
• Have applied for the maximum student support available from the Student Loans Company (SLC), including
maintenance loan. Household income of £25,000 or below as assessed by SLC.
Students must agree to the University of Westminster having access to their home income data. Before you begin your course, SLC must receive all supporting documentation for a household income assessment by July 31. The University needs this information in order to validate your eligibility for any scholarships you have been temporarily awarded.
Students can only receive one scholarship from the University of Westminster. The Westminster Bursary will no longer be available to students who are offered scholarships; however, they may still be eligible for other awards or bursaries as well as outside scholarships.
During each year of the scholarship you will be required to complete at least one career development session, details will be provided after enrolment.
