About ACBH Stipend Program
ACBH, with sponsorship from the Turkish Coalition of America (TCA), is accepting applications for a stipend internship program for students and recent college graduates who have been accepted for an internship position with members of the U.S. Congress.
The stipend internship program will provide an opportunity for Bosnian American students to live and work in Washington, D.C. and become exposed to U.S. government institutions and policy-making processes. Through this program, ACBH intends to contribute to the preparation of future Bosnian American political and social leaders, and enhance the participation of the Bosnian American community in American political life.
Furthermore, ACBH will assist in providing the candidates with resources, including websites and books, available for finding rewarding internships.
ACBH Stipend Program Coverage
The program is a monthly stipend between $400 for in-state participants and $1,000 for out-of-state participants. No other costs will be covered.

Application requirements (all must be fulfilled):
- U.S. citizen of Bosnian descent
- Relevant educational background and maturity
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Past interest and experience in community and public service

How to Apply?
Applicants are required to submit their internship acceptance letter from one of the U.S. Congressional offices, their most recent resume and a one-page cover letter explaining their interest in community and public service, as well as their expectations of the program.
