- be enrolled in a graduate programme (second undergraduate degree or above, or equivalent);
- be enrolled in a first-year university course (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) with a major in journalism, communications, human development, psychology, sociology, disability inclusion, international relations, human resources, or a closely connected discipline; or
- possess a university degree (as outlined in items a and b above) and, if chosen, must start their internship within a year after receiving their degree;
- have completed at least four years of full-time study at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of a degree in journalism, communications, human development, psychology, sociology, disability inclusion, international relations, human resources, or a related field, if pursuing their studies in nations where higher education is not divided into undergraduate and graduate stages;
