About National Chiao Tung University Scholarships
National Chiao Tung University Scholarships 2024-2025 are fully funded international student scholarships. NCTU International offers master’s and undergraduate scholarships.
These scholarships provide $700 per month for undergraduate students, $733 for master’s students, and $966 for doctoral students.

About University
National Chiao Tung University is a public research university located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. NCTU was generally considered to be one of the top universities in Taiwan.

National Chiao Tung University Scholarships Coverage
The awards are divided into two categories, namely monthly stipend and tuition scholarship, as explained as follows:
(1) Monthly stipend and tuition scholarships may be awarded separately or simultaneously.
(2) Stipend are given monthly. The awards are as follows:
- Undergraduate student: NT$5,000–21,000/month
- Master’s student: NT$7,000–25,000/month
- PhD student: NT$10,000–30,000/month
(3) Tuition scholarships are divided into two categories:
- Full waiving of tuition and credit fees, and
- Tuitions and credit fees charged according to the rates of local students. The reduction rate is determined by the Committee.
National Chiao Tung University Scholarships Eligibility Criteria
- For Master Degree applications, students must have their bachelor’s degree/transcript (16-year) education.
- Applicants for PhD degrees must have a master’s degree/transcript (18 years of education) at the time of application.
- Applicants must have a stellar academic record.
- A strong desire to study/research in Taiwan is required.
- Students with extracurricular accomplishments, community involvement, social responsibility, and leadership skills will be preferred.
- Students must be able to demonstrate their command of the English language (if you have English proficiency letter from your previous institution it will be acceptable)
