1. Postdoctoral studies in Targeting the Ubiquitin-Proteasome System with Small Molecules

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The mission of this project is to test the anti-cancer efficacy of novel, in-house developed compounds that inhibit intracellular protein degradation. 3. Postdoctoral studies in spatial multi-omics

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The overall goal of the new project is to gain an increased understanding of the tumor microenvironment and the factors that affect how the patient responds to the (cytotoxic/x) treatment. In the long run, this can contribute to the development of individualized treatment protocols, based on spatial multi-omics analysis. In addition to these project-specific clinical goals, the study is an important piece of the puzzle in the long-term goal of mapping the spatial principles that guide how tumour cells respond to treatment, while providing a comprehensive repertoire of tools for studying tumour architecture.

8. Postdoctoral Researcher to the Department of Microbiology, Tumor- and Cell biology

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

We are seeking a motivated, creative post-doctoral candidate interested in exploring drivers of intratumor heterogeneity and phenotypic plasticity in sympathoadrenal tumors, such as childhood neuroblastoma and pheochromocytoma. Intratumor heterogeneity and high plasticity account for therapy resistance. Causes of plasticity cell state transitions during tumor progression remain poorly understood. Currently, there is no effective treatment that addresses cancer heterogeneity. Systematic characterization of dynamic properties of intratumor heterogeneity and phenotypic plasticity can guide treatment strategies and improve clinical outcome for cancer patients.
