Regardless of their subject of study, researchers with a PhD and above-average credentials from anywhere in the globe are eligible for the Humboldt Research Fellowship.
Did you acquire your doctorate, or an equivalent academic degree like a Ph.D., C.Sc., or anything similar, no more than four years ago when you submitted your application? Or do you finish your PhD in no more than six months and are able to write up your findings? Have you already authored scientific works that have been peer-reviewed in publications that adhere to international standards?
