Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

We are currently looking for a Research Associate to join the ACED Early Detection team within the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC). The aim of this post is to support to help develop and apply a translational program in genomics and transcriptomics in hereditary cancers amenable to early detection. 3. Research Associate for Centre for Women’s Mental Health

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

We seek a talented and dedicated, quantitative researcher with a deep strong in psychiatric epidemiology. You will work with us on exciting mental health projects primarily relating to children and young people (CYP). These include: investigating the role of parental mental illness on CYP outcomes; investigating how the pandemic has affected the mental health of CYP; interrogating trends in mental health treatment in children; and investigate the outcomes for children treated with psychotropic medications. You will have access to high-quality registry and survey data, and working closely with the CWMH Research Director (Prof Abel) and Research Fellow (Dr Pierce) you will conduct literature searches, plan and conduct analyses of these resources and take a lead in drafting papers. 4. Research Associate- Computational Biologist

The Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) is seeking a talented and ambitious computational biologist to play a key role in a multiomic research study of gastric cancer. The aim of this Cancer Research UK funded project is to identify factors that drive tumour formation in patients with hereditary diffuse gastric cancer (HDGC) and will include fine resolution spatial analysis of tumour cells, pre-cancerous lesions and normal gastric tissue. We are looking for a postdoc with computational skills and an interest in Whole Genome Sequencing data and multiomic data integration to lead the analysis of this cohort.
